FriedrichAI's core assistant is designed to run on your PC, not on remote AI servers. Your local conversations, memory and workspace files are stored on your machine.

The website

This static website does not contain third-party analytics, ad trackers, external font requests, user accounts or forms that submit personal information. Like other hosted websites, the hosting provider may process technical connection details such as IP addresses and access logs; its practices depend on the host chosen.

The application

The default offline assistant does not require an API key or cloud connection. Optional web/search functions, if you enable them, can transmit requests to the providers you configure. Those providers have their own privacy terms.
