Before buying, compare your PC against the requirements and try the free demo on Steam. FriedrichAI processes AI locally, so hardware makes a significant difference.

Start here

• Confirm your PC meets the minimum requirements: Windows 10/11 64-bit, 16 GB RAM and 20 GB of free storage for the base application.
• Try the Steam demo if you have any compatibility doubts.
• For slow response times, consider a smaller compatible GGUF model.
• Media packs are optional and demand substantially more storage and GPU resources than chat.

Bug reports & known issues

Use the public GitHub repository for documentation and issues. When filing a report, include your Windows version, CPU/GPU, RAM/VRAM, FriedrichAI version, steps to reproduce and the exact error message. Do not publish private chats, API keys or identifying logs.
